Jem is a loving partner, a devoted father, and a hardworking colleague and friend. Until recently, he was just like any other new dad, focused on providing for his family and looking forward to watching his baby grow.

In October, everything changed.

On his way to work, Jem was involved in a car accident. What seemed like an unfortunate but ordinary event turned into something life altering. As part of follow up medical checks, doctors discovered something completely unexpected: Jem was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer.

The diagnosis came as a devastating shock to Jem and his partner Bless. They had welcomed their beautiful baby just 6 months earlier, and suddenly their world was turned upside down.

Since then, Jem has been facing the fight of his life. He is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy, enduring the physical and emotional toll that comes with aggressive cancer treatment. Despite this, he continues to show incredible strength, courage, and determination. Not just for himself, but for Bless and their baby, who need him more than ever.

Cancer doesn’t just affect health, it impacts every part of life. The cost of treatment, time away from work, travel to appointments, and the everyday expenses of caring for a young family quickly add up.
