Together for Hassan and Family: Aid for Survival and Hope

Hello, we are Bobbi, Clare, Coco, Sandy, and Rachel from the US, Katrine from Norway and Jemima from Germany - The Baluosha Family Support Team. We’re here to ask for your help for our friend Hassan M. F. Abualjalil Baluosha, a Palestinian man, and his family of thirteen; ranging from his parents, siblings, and their children, all are from Jabalia Camp, north in the Gaza Strip

Since October 7, 2023, Palestine has experienced devastating attacks, one which left Hassan’s brother dead and another with one leg amputated. Hassan is now struggling to meet his family’s basic needs for surviving, infections from not having clean water, and poor hygiene conditions.

Hassan’s family are from Jabalia Camp North Gaza. They were first displaced South in Rafah for 4 months. They have had to evacuate yet again leaving their tent behind and are currently displaced in Khan Yunis without adequate shelter and facing severe shortages of food, water, and medicine with price gouging when available all while on standby as they never know when they will be told to evacuate again. They are also living without electricity for almost a year keeping in mind winter is coming.

After collaborating with a previous GoFundMe campaign for Hassan and family, https://gofund.me/c2ab7268 , $3,877 was raised over the last four months. This is a new GoFundMe as the last team member from the UK needed to take a leave. I’m here to ensure that the funds are directed to Hassan and his family. As well as stay in contact on their behalf to communicate with donors.

We are a team of four committed to overseeing all donations will go directly to them on a weekly or monthly basis in order for them to simply eat and buy clean water. Hepatitis A has spread within his family as with most in Gaza as they have no soap or sewage drainage. Donations will also go towards medicine, a tent, and blankets. The $40 International Bank Wire fee is waived if we go in person. Should enough donations come in we hope they can evacuate to Egypt which is $5k per person.
