We are coming together as a community to uplift and empower George during his treatments. George is a 14 year old student in Upper Township. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in early December after experiencing a series of concerning symptoms. Towards the end of his treatment the doctors discovered a rare form of Cutaneous T cell lymphoma. The beginning of his treatment was extremely difficult. He spent the majority of Christmas at CHOP and was even placed on a feeding tube due to an unhealthy decline in weight.

George is the kind of kid that gets along with everyone. He has a big heart and has worked hard to remain positive through this situation. Prior to becoming sick he played the trumpet in the band, was part of the tech club and played street hockey. He is a massive Philadelphia Eagles fan and nothing brought him more joy than watching his Birds win the Super Bowl.

We are hoping that this Go Fund Me will also help his mother, Emily, a single mom who graduated from Ocean City High School and is a local educator in West Cape May. Between George's illnesses and frequent trips to CHOP and University of Pennsylvania Hospital, the medical bills and expenses have become impossible to keep up with. We would love to be able to support an educator and an unwavering and tenacious mother who refuses to give up. She continues to teach daily while also being the support both her son and daughter need. Help us to help them.
