Hi, I’m Frida, Emmanuel’s mom, and I want to share our story with you.
Emmanuel is 31 years old. Since he was a child, he has lived with hemophilia, a disease that prevents his blood from clotting normally. He grew up knowing that even a small bump could mean days in bed or a life-threatening bleed. Despite it all, he’s always been strong, kind, and full of dreams for the future.
But in recent months, his health has taken a very serious turn. He’s been hospitalized for complex surgeries, multiple drains, and severe kidney and liver problems. His body is extremely weak and dangerously underweight. I’ve been by his side watching him fight every day with incredible courage, but also with so much pain.
In the hospital, he needs specialized and life-saving medications like human Factor VIII, essential to stop bleeding but extremely expensive, and human albumin to maintain his blood volume and prevent complications. He also needs imaging studies, frequent lab work, and intensive medical care.
But his fight doesn’t end at the hospital doors. To come home and recover, Emmanuel needs more than just medicine: he needs a safe and dignified space for rehabilitation. He will need a wheelchair, ramps for access, physical therapy equipment, a special bed, and various medical supplies so he can move safely and comfortably while he regains strength and learns to be independent again.
I’m his mother, and I’ve given everything I have to care for him. But I can no longer cover these enormous expenses alone. That’s why I’m turning to you today.
If you can give anything, no matter how small, you will help us pay for:
✅ Hospital Bed
✅ Physical Therapy
✅ Imaging and lab tests.
✅ Transportation and special care.
✅ Essential equipment for his home recovery.
✅ Psychological therapy
If you can’t donate, please help by sharing our story so it can reach more people.
I just want to see Emmanuel smile again, sitting in his wheelchair, feeling the sun on his face, dreaming about the future he still deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of our heart for taking the time to read our story and for your empathy and solidarity.
❤️ Frida and Emmanuel ♥️
