Hello everyone, my name is Ninu. I have been working as a Registered Nurse since 2014. My very first job was at Northshore Private Hospital in New South Wales, and it was there that I met my dear friend, Elvin.

From the moment I met her nearly 10 years ago, Elvin stood out as one of the most cheerful and compassionate nurses I had ever known. She cared for her patients with genuine kindness, empathy, and a warmth that touched everyone around her.

A few days ago, a small group of us friends gathered at my home in Queensland for a quick catch-up. During that time, we learned the heartbreaking news that Elvin is currently battling Stage Four lung cancer with metastatic lesions in her brain. She is now undergoing her sixth chemotherapy session at Northern Hospital in Victoria.

Despite everything she is going through, Elvin continues to inspire us all. She still carries the same beautiful smile, the same empathy, and the same strength that she has always shown to others. She is facing the toughest battle of her life with incredible courage, determination, and a remarkably positive attitude toward her treatment.

Elvin is only 38 years old and is a loving mother to her adorable four-year-old daughter. Her husband, Bobby, has been by her side every step of the way, offering unwavering love and support as a constant source of strength. Since being diagnosed with cancer in January 2025, Elvin has been unable to work, and the family is now facing financial challenges as Bobby’s job situation is currently unstable.

This fundraiser has been created to help ease some of that pressure, so Bobby can focus on being there for Elvin and their daughter without the constant worry about bills, treatment-related expenses, and everyday living costs.

This is not just about money or treatment. It’s about time. It’s about helping a mother create precious moments with her daughter that she will carry in her heart forever.
