Hello everyone,

We are Lana, Chimene and Yara, 3 volunteers at the NGO Mama Alice in Ayacucho, Peru. And we need your help...

The organisation that we work for is a non-profit organisation who battles against day-to-day problems that children are facing in the region, such as sexual abuse, poor hygiene, alcoholism, malnutrition, neglect and domestic violence.

A key area of intervention is education. Yanama is one of the places where kids from 6 to 14 years old have the chance to receive extra assistance from local teachers, who not only help them with their schoolwork, but also lend them a sympathetic ear and a secure environment where they can play and have fun with others.

However, Yanama is facing a problem.

Regretfully, there won't be enough funds to continue giving these young ones additional support. Meaning that they will lose this safe space that they rely on so much.

To avoid this situation and lend a hand, we established this fundraiser.

With the generated funds, Mama Alice can continue with providing these classes.

Every contribution makes a difference. Not only donating, but also sharing this message with your family, friends and colleagues would be extremely helpful for us!

Wij zijn Lana, Chimene en Yara, 3 vrijwilligers bij de NGO Mama Alice in Ayacucho, Peru. En we hebben jullie hulp nodig...

De organisatie waar wij voor werken is een non-profit organisatie die strijdt tegen dagelijkse problemen waar kinderen in de regio mee te maken hebben, zoals seksueel misbruik, slechte hygiëne, alcoholisme, ondervoeding, verwaarlozing en huiselijk geweld.

Een belangrijk interventiegebied is onderwijs. Yanama is een van de plaatsen waar kinderen van 6 tot 14 jaar de kans krijgen om extra hulp te ontvangen van lokale leerkrachten, die hen niet alleen helpen met hun schoolwerk, maar ook een luisterend oor bieden en een veilige omgeving waar ze kunnen spelen en plezier maken met anderen.

Yanama heeft echter een probleem.

Helaas is er niet genoeg geld om deze jongeren extra steun te blijven geven. Dit betekent dat ze deze veilige plek, waar zoveel aan hebben, zullen verliezen.

Om dit te voorkomen en een steentje bij te dragen, hebben we deze inzamelingsactie opgezet.

Met de opbrengsten kan Mama Alice doorgaan met het geven van deze lessen.

Elke bijdrage maakt een verschil. Niet alleen doneren, maar ook dit bericht delen met je familie, vrienden en collega's zou ons enorm helpen!

Somos Lana, Chimene y Yara, 3 voluntarias de la ONG Mama Alice en Ayacucho, Perú. Y necesitamos vuestra ayuda...

La organización para la que trabajamos es una organización sin ánimo de lucro que lucha contra los problemas cotidianos a los que se enfrentan los niños de la región, como el abuso sexual, la falta de higiene, el alcoholismo, la desnutrición, el abandono y la violencia doméstica.

Un área clave de intervención es la educación. Yanama es uno de los lugares donde los niños de 6 a 14 años tienen la oportunidad de recibir asistencia adicional de los maestros locales, que no sólo les ayudan con sus tareas escolares, sino que también les prestan un oído comprensivo y un entorno seguro donde pueden jugar y divertirse con los demás.

Sin embargo, Yanama se enfrenta a un problema.

Lamentablemente, no habrá fondos suficientes para seguir dando a estos jóvenes apoyo adicional. Esto significa que perderán este espacio seguro en el que tanto confían.

Para evitar esta situación y echar una mano, hemos creado esta recaudación de fondos.

Con los fondos generados, Mama Alice podrá seguir impartiendo estas clases.
