During my recent visit to India in October–November 2025, I had the opportunity to meet

*Dr. Kathi Padma Rao* garu in Hyderabad. True to the person we know from his writings and videos, he welcomed me with warmth, clarity of thought, and remarkable resilience. Yet, behind that strength, he was quietly navigating a serious health challenge—cataract surgery, along with other medical procedures.

You may notice him wearing dark glasses in the photo; during our conversation, he shared details of his ongoing treatment. It was a moving reminder that even the strongest and most selfless individuals often endure their struggles in silence.

*Dr. Padma Rao garu has dedicated his entire life to writing, speaking, organizing, and advocating for social justice and human dignity*. As a scholar, activist, social reformer, and fearless voice of conscience, his work has influenced countless lives and continues to inspire generations.

*Today, it is our turn to stand with him.*

*In recognition of his lifelong service to society, I humbly propose that we come together as a community to support him during this time.* Medical expenses can be overwhelming for anyone, and someone who has given so much to others should not have to carry this burden alone.
