Together for Dee: Rebuilding After Hurricane Helene

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Our dear colleague and friend, Dee, has recently experienced the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene, which has left her home uninhabitable. A massive tree has fallen into her house, causing severe damage, while another tree landed on the back of her car, totaling it completely. Her pets are currently boarded, as they don’t have a place to be right now, while Dee bravely works through this devastation.

Dee now faces an incredibly challenging situation. The closest available hotel for her and her daughter is an hour away from their home, meaning they will need to commute 4 hours (there and back) each day just to ensure her daughter can stay on top of her schoolwork.

We are coming together as a community to surround Dee with love and support during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will go directly toward helping Dee cover the cost of temporary housing, transportation, and rebuilding her home.
