Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to you today on behalf of my beloved stepsister, Dacia, who is courageously battling a triple negative breast cancer. This aggressive form of cancer has turned her family’s world upside down, but her resilience and determination are unwavering, inspiring everyone around her to stay hopeful and strong.

It may come as a shock to learn that Dacia underwent a double mastectomy in January this year, as she is a very private person. Early in May, we were all devastated to learn that the cancer has returned above her surgical site.

Dacia is many things to many people; a cherished daughter and sister, a passionate nurse, but above all she is a devoted mother to four incredible children. She is an exceptionally strong woman, just like her mom, and her children are her greatest source of strength and motivation.

As Dacia and her family cope with the emotional impact of this diagnosis and navigate treatment options, the medical bills and associated costs are piling up, making the financial burden overwhelming.
