Together For Chloe
Hi everyone,
Last week, Chloe went to the hospital after falling with what we initially thought was a knee fracture. What started as weakness and pain quickly turned into something more serious, and she has now been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) — a rare condition where the body’s own immune system attacks the nervous system.
Chloe has been in the ICU while doctors ran tests, including an MRI and spinal tap. Thankfully, after a lot of prayers and difficult days, we finally have some answers. The good news is that with treatment, Chloe is expected to make a full recovery, but it will take time, care, and a lot of support.
She is now being moved to rehab where she’ll spend anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks, followed by months of at-home care, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. She has lost significant muscle strength in her arms, waist, and legs , even simple daily tasks like putting on a shirt are a struggle right now. But she is strong, brave, and determined to heal.
This journey has taken a toll on our family. Chris is our families sole provider and has had to take a leave from work to be here for Chloe, and with hospital stays, treatments, medicine, and the months of follow-up appointments and therapies ahead, the financial strain is real.
We are humbly asking for help through this GoFundMe. All donations will go directly toward:
Chloe’s hospital bills and medical treatments
Medicines, home health care, and therapies she will need over the coming months
Travel to and from specialist appointments
Daily needs for our family
We are so thankful for the love, encouragement, and prayers that have surrounded us.
If you’re able to give, no matter the amount, we are deeply grateful. If you can’t give financially, please continue to keep Chloe in your prayers and share this fundraiser with others who may want to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
With love and gratitude, CharleyAnn, Chris, Chloe and Corbyn
