Hi, I'm one of Carrie's oldest friends. Actually, she is more like a sister to me. See, we've been friends since kindergarten. I'm still in Ohio. We've never skipped a beat all these years, even when she moved to Georgia almost 30 years ago. She's the strongest person I know. She has great faith in God! She is always helping out friends, family, or anyone who needs a boost.

Carrie has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Let me back up and give you a little back story.

So, about 6 months ago, she went in for her yearly mammogram. It came back all clear. Fast forward about 4 months ago, she had her yearly OB visit. Carrie was always on time with these. Well, they found a lump. She went through all the necessary testing, and it came back that she has breast cancer. Since then, she has had a lumpectomy, and they removed some lymph nodes. She started her first chemo on May 13th, 2025.

She is facing some unforeseen financial issues. Carrie is not able to go back to work for an unforeseen amount of time. She needs some help with her monthly bills. They add up to about $4,000 a month. The $8,000 we're asking for will just cover 2 months of bills.
