In Memory of Joseph Grama and Family

I'm the sister of Joseph Grama raising funds for my sister-in-law Brianne and her 4 children. She lost her husband, and the 4 children lost a wonderful father. They have only been married for a short time since 2019, but they have 4 beautiful children.

The day started like any other until the phone rang. It was my sister-in-law Brianne on the phone, but I couldn't hear much. For her to cry it was not normal. This is a strong woman. What is going on? She called back, and the only thing I could hear was that Joey was dead. My heart sank. What? What had happened? Joey was a truck driver, always on the road. Was it a car accident?

Joe was an amazing husband, father, and dad to 4 beautiful kids. His number one priority was always his wife and children. When he wasn't on the road driving, he was with the boys and daughter, playing and rolling around with them. They sometimes played so hard that they would all fall asleep. It wasn't too difficult since he often returned home after being on the road all night. But he still made time to help get them ready for school. He cooked and cleaned. Any woman would be lucky to have him. They have a beautiful family, and Brianne had the chance to have him for a short time here on Earth. Now, a young mother of four—three boys aged 5, 4, 2, and a 14-year-old daughter—is left without a father.

How could God let this happen to a family? Why? How do you tell your boys that Daddy is not coming home? When their life revolved around their dad. Dad is with God and watching you from Heaven! A mother is left without a husband and a partner; all she has are memories. You hear people say life is too short but only God knows your life plan. I understand that God has plans for every one of us, but it’s hard to grasp why. We were not ready for your heart to stop. Rest in Peace.
