It is with profound sorrow that we share the tragic and unexpected loss of our beloved Asheljamin (Dewen) Waller. Dewen was more than a cherished friend and devoted father and grandfather—he was a cornerstone of the community whose legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.

Through his tireless dedication to Mid-Cities Football, Dewen gave selflessly to the youth of our area, mentoring and guiding children both on and off the field. He was a role model, a coach, and a father figure to many—instilling values of discipline, teamwork, and compassion in every young person he encountered. His impact reached far beyond the game; he helped shape futures and offered unwavering support to those who needed it most.

Dewen’s passing leaves a tremendous void, especially for his young adult children who now face an unimaginable future without his love, wisdom, and support. We are raising funds to help cover immediate expenses and to provide stability for his children during this incredibly difficult time.
