On August 12th, our dear friend Andy Heid suffered a sudden and life-altering brainstem hemorrhage, a severe form of stroke. Thankfully, Stacy was right by his side when it happened and able to get medical help immediately. Andy was rushed to the ER at Alomere Health and later transferred to CentraCare St. Cloud, where he has remained in the ICU ever since.
Andy has been on a ventilator and underwent a Tracheostomy surgery today. Additionally, doctors placed an External Ventricular Drain (EVD) to help reduce the pressure in his brain. Through it all, the medical team has been nothing short of incredible, providing Andy with the best care possible.
Though he is resting comfortably now, Andy’s journey to recovery is just beginning. His blood pressure is being closely monitored, and his doctors are supporting his breathing efforts. We are all anxiously waiting for the day he will wake up and begin his long road to recovery.
As we continue to support Andy through this difficult time, we ask for your help. Any donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward his medical expenses, which are mounting quickly. Your generosity will make a world of difference for Andy, Stacy and his family as they navigate this challenging time.
Above all, we ask for your prayers. Whether you pray, send positive thoughts, or simply wish him strength, every bit of support helps.
Thank you for being a part of Andy's journey. Your kindness means everything to us.
