I am setting up this fundraiser in hopes we can come together to support Olivia, Jamey, Alana, and their 4 other children during a time no parent or family should ever have to face.

Recently, Alana was diagnosed with Chiari malformation, a condition that will require an intensive surgery, followed by months of rehabilitation and recovery.

This diagnosis has turned life upside down for their family, and is bringing countless questions, challenges, and uncertanties about what lies ahead.

Olivia and Jamey are not only preparing for Alana’s surgery and recovery but also figuring out how to balance the needs of their other four children and keep everyday life moving.

Between medical appointments, rehabilitation, possible in-home care, and the amount of time Alana will need to heal this will have an impact on their everyday life as they see it now.

That’s where I hope our community can step in.

I created this Fundraiser to help take some of the financial pressure off Olivia and Jamey so they can focus on what matters most: being there for Alana and their children.

Donations will help with:

• Everyday household expenses and necessities.

• Potential lost income if Olivia needs to step away from work to care for Alana.

• Potential lost income if Jamey needs additional time off to care for their other children.

• Out-of-pocket medical expenses, rehabilitation, and care not covered by insurance.

• Travel expenses for appointments, treatments, and follow-up visits.

• Unexpected costs that may arise throughout surgery and recovery.

We know there are still so many unknowns. We don’t yet know exactly what Alana’s recovery will look like, how much additional care she may need, or how long this journey will last.

It truly takes a village, and right now, I want Olivia and her family to feel that they have a village surrounding them.
