As many of you know, our beloved Adina has been struggling with her health for some years now, having been diagnosed with a genetic connective tissue disorder called Hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndrome, or hEDS, as well as mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) and dysautonomia.

These alone cause tremendous strain on Adina's body; destabilizing connective tissue that have dislocated her shoulder and jaw, cause systemic pain, inflammation and fatigue as well as affect her mental clarity and hormonal/energy function.

While living in Santa Fe, NM last year, Adina was further hindered by exposure to black mold which has resulted in aggravation of her chronic symptoms and has rapidly declined her health.

She is now navigating constant pain, severe histamine reactions that are potentially threatening, extreme fatigue, brain fog, weight loss, hair loss, food sensitivities that make it difficult to regularly eat without a reaction, and many other symptoms that have been worsening.

Outside of work and routine day to day needs, Adina has been minimally able to leave the house. She has had to routinely cancel or postpone 25-30% of her work obligations and forgo bigger projects that she depends on for income due to her health, and has exhausted the resources and energy she has. She has voiced that she has been doing everything she can to support and care for herself, but can no longer keep up with escalated expenses and declining health. She needs both immediate care to treat hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, dysautonomia, anemia, hormonal imbalance, and black mold exposure.

Adina has committed her life to the healing and well-being of others-we have all been touched and guided by her presence through her yoga classes, reiki sessions or just as a friend and family member.

]She needs our support to rest, heal, and give her time to recover. Unfortunately, our government safety nets like disability and unemployment do not extend to self-employed/independent contractors like Adina, her journey ahead will take time and is facing significant costs for her care.
