hace 8 meses, aunque no fue posible recoger el monto inicial de la campaña, logre
gracias a Dios cumplir con mis siclos de quimioterapia operación de mastectomía radical,
y posterior radioterapia.
No ha sido una etapa fácil de superar, por los efectos secundarios y secuelas, he tenido
que aprender a vivir con ellos.
Ahora para seguir con mi recuperación, he comenzado una nueva etapa, se me realizó
una evaluación de los ovarios y útero, y notaron que mi diagnóstico de miomatosis uterina
sigue creciendo, tengo más miomas y el útero sigue creciendo y está causando presión
en los órganos cercanos, y es posible que pueda desencadenar en un derrame difícil de
controlar, sin embargo si estoy padeciendo de dolor pélvico, dolores de espalda,
necesidad de orinar a menudo, además mi cáncer de mama es principalmente
alimentado por estrógenos, que son producidos por los ovarios, por lo tanto soy una
paciente de alto riesgo de contraer aparte del cáncer de mama, cáncer de ovario, por
todas estas razones el equipo médico me recomienda con urgencia una histerectomía
total.
El hecho de tener que volver a entrar a un quirófano no es fácil de asimilar, pero he
entendido que formar parte de mi recuperación, y de bajar las posibilidades de reincidir
con cáncer a futuro.
En vista de la difícil situación económica y lo difícil de atender la salud, me veo en la
necesidad de seguir con la campaña, y apelar a su corazón, para que me puedan apoyar
con su granito de arena y sus oraciones siempre de la mano de mi Dios Jehová, que me
da las fuerzas para luchar y luchar con esta terrible enfermedad.
