( We have a different language, but the same heart and feelings )

Here is my brother last year—before he was diagnosed with kidney problems—and here he is now. We have tried to get him treated through the social security system, but the truth is that for a whole year, they have just been giving us the runaround and passing the buck; it has reached the point where they are now suggesting we handle it privately because the bureaucratic red tape is too extensive. It has been a year of sleepless nights for my mother, who worries that her son might pass away just as our father and aunt did.

So, we tried to pursue private treatment. Initially, they said the procedure would simply involve removing the cysts from his kidneys. However, after taking our payment and realizing the case wasn't that straightforward, they said a different operation was required first: removing one kidney and keeping him in intensive care until his immune system was suppressed, followed by the transplant surgery (removing the second kidney)—which would essentially be a third surgery. That is why I am asking for help. My sister and I are currently undergoing tests so the doctor can determine who is the safer donor, but we need financial assistance to cover the surgeries. Please help us in any way you can; we don't want to lose him.

Él es mi hermano el año pasado antes de que lo diagnosticaron con problemas en los riñones y él es mi hermano ahora. hemos intentado que lo atiendan en el seguro social, pero la verdad es que en un año solo nos han estado dando vueltas culpándose uno al otro al punto en el que ahora ellos mismos sugieren hacerlo por fuera porque es demasiado protocolo. Un año en el que mi madre no duerme pensando en si su hijo fallezca igual que le pasó a nuestro padre y mi tía.

Así que intentamos hacer eso por fuera, pero la primera vez dijeron que era quitarle los quistes que tenía en los riñones y después de cobrar y ver que no era tan simple dijeron que se ocuparía otro tipo de operación primero donde se le quite un riñón teniéndolo en cuidados intensivos hasta que se le bajen las defensas y entonces poder hacer el transplante al quitarle el segundo lo que ya sería una tercera cirugía por eso mismo es que pido ayuda. Mi hermana y yo estamos haciendo ahora exámenes para que el médico decida quien es más seguro de donarle el riñón, pero económicamente necesitamos ayuda para pagar las operaciones, lo que sea lo que puedas ayudar no queremos perderlo por favor ayúdanos.
