Pratiquei ginástica acrobática de competição no Clube Gimnofrielas e representei Portugal em dois Campeonatos do Mundo e num Campeonato da Europa

No dia 19 de dezembro de 2022, durante um treino, sofri um acidente que me causou uma lesão medular entre as vértebras C3 e C6.

Desde então, a reabilitação passou a fazer parte do meu dia a dia. Atualmente frequento o 11.º ano na área de Economia e faço todos os dias fisioterapia em casa com uma fisioterapeuta especializada em lesões medulares, kinesioterapia três vezes por semana e natação na GesLoures.

Este verão surgiu a oportunidade de realizar um tratamento intensivo numa clínica especializada em Espanha. É um passo muito importante na minha recuperação, mas tem um custo muito elevado.

Por isso, decidi criar esta campanha e pedir a vossa ajuda. Qualquer contributo, por mais pequeno que seja, fará a diferença e ajudar-me-á a tornar este tratamento possível.

Hello, I'm Maria. 

 I practiced competitive acrobatic gymnastics at the Gimnofrielas Club and represented Portugal in two World Championships and in a European Championship On December 19, 2022, during a workout, I suffered an accident that caused me a spinal cord injury between the C3 and C6 vertebrae. 

 Since then, rehabilitation has become part of my daily life. I currently attend the 11th�fth year in the area of Economics and do physiotherapy every day at home with a physiotherapist specialized in spinal cord injuries, kinesiotherapy three times a week and swimming at GesLoures. 

 This summer the opportunity arose to perform an intensive treatment in a specialized clinic in Spain. It is a very important step in my recovery, but it has a very high cost. 

That's why I decided to create this campaign and ask for your help. 

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help me make this treatment possible. If you can't contribute, sharing this campaign will already be a great help.
