About 1 year and a half ago Andreina began to have frequent headaches and had trouble hearing well; that is why she went to a checkup with the internist doctor where they performed a tomography where they found a tumor.
At that time, the doctor referred her to a Neurosurgeon to perform a resonance and observed a benign tumor, at the left cerebellar, clivus, and parasellar angle, of congenital origin and slow growth, which encompasses the left basilar and vertebral artery.
Because it is in a place of difficult access that has many important structures (left brain cerebellar angle), they were to be observed, to evaluate the behavior to be followed.
This year in control with another neurosurgeon a new resonance is made, on Friday June 8 it is appreciated that despite being a slow growing tumor it has already grown too much, so much that it has already passed the midline and is extending to the right side (already not only on the left side) and the basilar trunk and encompasses the V, VII and VIII cranial nerve, making surgical resection more difficult due to the risk of complications that exist.
This is why doctors recommended Radiosurgery in the United States,
which the procedure is innocuous without so many risks but that in Venezuela at the moment is not being carried out.
The more we wait, the more it grows and is increasingly difficult and with greater risks of damage.

Soy Adriana Graff, vivo en Santiago de Chile. Mi hermana Andreina Graff junto con mi familia necesitamos tu ayuda.
Hace aproximadamente 1 año y medio Andreina empezó a presentar dolores de cabeza frecuentes y le costaba escuchar bien; es por eso va a un chequeo con el médico internista donde le realizan una tomografía para evaluar y encontraron un tumor.
En ese momento el médico la refirió al Neurocirujano para realizar una resonancia y observaron un tumor benigno, en el ángulo ponto cerebeloso izquierdo, clivus y paraselar, de origen congénito y crecimiento lento, que engloba la arteria basilar y vertebral izquierda.
Por encontrarse en un lugar de difícil acceso y presentar muchas estructuras importantes ( ángulo ponto cerebeloso izquierdo) los iban a tener en observación, para evaluar la conducta a seguir.
Este año en control con otro neurocirujano se realiza una nueva resonancia, el viernes 8 de junio se aprecia que a pesar de ser un tumor de crecimiento lento ya ha crecido demasiado, tanto que ya pasó la linea media y está extendiéndose al lado derecho ( ya no solo está en el lado izquierdo) y al tronco basilar y engloba el V, VII y VIII par craneal, haciéndose más difícil la resección quirúrgica por el riesgo de complicaciones que existe.
Es por esto que los médicos recomiendan realizar una Radiocirugía en Estados Unidos,
el cual el procedimiento es inocuo sin tantos riesgos pero que en Venezuela actualmente no se está realizando.
Mientras más se espera el tumor más crece y es cada vez más difícil y con mayores riesgos de producir daños.
