Todd’s Tongue Cancer Fundraiser

Some of you know my friend Todd (Fulton), he is also known by his professional name Scott Morris, to some of you. Todd/Scott and his husband Gordon are best friends of ours. Todd calls me every morning when he wakes up to say hello. It’s a familiar part of my day that makes me feel loved. Todd is a lover of people and he is going through a difficult time.
Todd was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer of the tongue, and it has spread to several lymph nodes in his neck. The good news is it’s highly treatable and was caught early, and he has an amazing medical team at UCSF.
Todd will need a complete reconstruction of his tongue from a graft taken from his forearm…so he’s looking at two major surgeries at once, but the prognosis is great and he will survive and fully recover!!
Todd will be in critical care at the hospital for a week and he’ll need post-op care in San Francisco for several weeks while he is recovering. Todd and Gordon need financial help from loving friends, to assist with medical bills and related expenses for Todd’s treatment and subsequent care.
This hardship has greatly impacted their income too, as Todd depends on his ability to communicate for his livelihood. He is the founder and operator of Cumunion events which provide men’s adult safe spaces to our community across the globe.
I ask that if you are able, please join me in helping my friends Todd and Gordon to navigate the burden of this medical emergency and wish Todd a complete healing!
