Hello everybody, this is Todds son Dawson. I am setting this up for my father to help ease the financial load during his fight. All donations will be used to cover medical expenses and to do repairs on the house that are needed to help keep my father in good health. My mother asked me to include her facebook post in here for anyone who did not see the original post. "Well,where do I begin.This is very hard for me to write and I debated on posting this. This week has been unbearable as my family and I are truly heartbroken. I cant even believe this is even happening. My world feels like its falling apart. As many of you don't know, Todd has battling pneumonia for two months now. He was admitted into the hospital last week where they did a xray, MRI and a catscan. The results are not what we wanted to hear. He has small cell lung cancer and it is not curable. He has a large mass in his right lung and spots on his liver. It is a fast moving cancer. So here are the steps Todd will be taking. He will be starting chemo on Wednesday,for 4 weeks. This is to try and stop it from spreading more. The next step will be radiation to target the spots and kill them directly. After that he will be on a maintenance medicine to try and control it. Some people have ask about quality of life with what he will be going through with Chemo. If he doesn't do chemo we will only have about a year. If he does chemo and radiation , then he will have over a year to 2 years. TODD IS A FIGHTER AND WILL FIGHT THIS WITH EVERYTHING HE HAS. . We are not giving in. This is where Todd needs everyone's support and prayers. He will not be able to work and I had surgery 6 weeks ago, so neither of us are working. He has always been there for everyone else and now it's his turn . He has always put other people's needs before his own. Now it's his turn. Todd has always been the rock for his family. Now it's our turn to be the rock for him. Todd, your family loves you so much. Dawson, Mason, Kobe and I love you so much. Now lets kick this cancer's ass.
