Miss Sherry's Toddler Playground
Donation protected

For over a decade, Miss Sherry was the beloved toddler teacher at King 's Way Christian EduCare. She was forced to leave the job she loved to begin chemotherapy treatments after being diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer in March 2014.
Even though her immune system was affected by the chemo, it was hard to keep Miss Sherry away from the daycare. All the children loved to see her and it always lifted her spirits to see them and her former coworkers and friends.
Kingsway has attempted several times to apply for a grant to fund creating a toddler playground, but the applications have been denied. Knowing this, it was Miss Sherry's wish that after she passed away, donations be made in lieu of flowers to help fund the toddler playground.
Miss Sherry passed away the morning of June 3, 2015.
Update: At Miss Sherry's Memorial Service, her son's former Boy Scout Troup (Troup 17) has offered to assemble the toddler playground for free once the funds are raised!
