Fall of 2020

Todd, father of four and husband, has Covid-19 and has been in ICU for the past few weeks. He has underlying medical issues, sarcoidosis (an autoimmune disease) and diabetes, which have hindered his recovery. He has been on oxygen and in ICU since being admitted and his breathing continues to deteriorate. This week he was put on a ventilator and is now fighting a secondary infection.

The hardest part for our family, like so many others are experiencing, is that we cannot be at the hospital with him to hold his hand, show him our love, talk to him, and let him know he's not alone. Todd is on a Covid floor and no visitors are allowed, including his pastor. 

Todd has been a small business owner for 30 years and is the primary source of income. He has not been able to work these many weeks and has also been in the hospital two other times since March. This has been a difficult year for us.
