Hi my name is Kari Willadsen. Todd's sister if you didn't know. He has been in Iowa city hospital since Aug 2nd. He was in the ICU til the 15th, now he's on respiratory floor. We have no idea of when he will get out. I drive back n forth everyday, he only gets 1 visitor per day from 9am to 5pm. We both have been missing work because of this. He is having a hard time breathing on his own. His oxygen level has been going between 80s n 90s with a bipap machine on. He has alot of inflammation n fluid in his lungs. He is on a fluid restriction while also pulling the extra fluids off of him. He also has a mass in the center of his chest that they did a biopsy on n found it was a rare cyst made up of cholesterol. I don't know any more about that if they are going to remove it or not. They say right now we need to get his breathing under control first before they do a procedure that he could stop breathing. We will be using the money for gas, food, n bills while he is in the hospital. I plan to keep coming everyday til he is out.
