Hi my name is Erinn, Manager of The Cathedral Pet Stop, one of the businesses Todd and his wife Pam own, and I'm lucky to call them great friends and my second family.

On what should have been a joyful milestone, Todd and Pam Murray’s 34th wedding anniversary, their lives changed forever.

After feeling unwell for more than a week, Todd collapsed inside Cathedral Pet Stop, the business he lovingly built with his wife. Doctors soon discovered Todd has a critically narrow aortic valve and now urgently needs life-saving heart surgery.

Todd’s recovery will take at least six months. During that time, he will be unable to work.

Why This Fundraiser Matters

Todd is the heart of Salon Snaxx and the behind the scenes hero at Cathedral Pet Stop, but he’s also the main source of income for his household. As a self-employed small business owner, Todd does not qualify for unemployment or disability benefits.

Pam his wife who runs The Cathedral Pet Stop, will need to significantly reduce her hours to care for him.

But this crisis affects more than just Todd and Pam.

Both businesses employ staff who rely on these jobs to support themselves and their families. Keeping the doors open is critical, not just to preserve Todd’s life’s work, but to protect the livelihoods of the people who depend on these businesses every day.
