Todd Lamanske aka Magic Dude❤️

My name is Misti Wald and I’m Todd Lamanske’s stepdaughter, although he considers me his daughter. For those of you that don’t know, his journey the last few weeks has been a roller coaster. But the good Lord is seeing him through, one day at a time!

Todd went to the ER on the evening of July 16th with chest pains. They kept him over the weekend with plans to do a heart cath on Monday morning. While on the table, Todd had 3 heart attacks. He was intubated until the next day. They installed a balloon pump to help his heart rest and heal and not have to work so hard. Dr. Madrigal took excellent care of Todd over the weekend and Dr. Ghose saved his life on the table during the heart cath.

Dr. Gorton performed quintuple (5) bypass surgery on Thursday. He said the surgery went beautifully. Even though he had severe blockage in 5 arteries, his heart is in good shape and didn’t suffer any damage. Praise God!

Todd is home and on his way to recovering. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, but we are blessed that he’s still here. We are so thankful for the doctors, nurses and staff at Liberty Hospital. They are true superheroes in our book! They don’t get the praise they deserve for all the do day in and day out!
