Todd Denman and Mike Slaughter Memorial

I met Josh Denman 10 years ago, if you don't know him, this is who he is to our family.

Josh is one person who walks into my home unannounced, without calling or texting first (GASP!). His first stop when arriving is always to raid either my pantry, fridge, or candy stash. He has assumed the role of annoying little brother, who enjoys pushing boundaries and makes even the simplest of situations into something awkward. My children have also dubbed him as the crazy uncle, the one that successfully gets them worked up right before bedtime and leaves me with an energetic mess. However, he is also the person who will drop anything to help us out. He's the friend who stops by, sitting up too late laughing, sometimes crying, discussing life and kids, or just to play 90s video games that we're all now terrible at. Josh is our "chosen family," so deeply a part of our lives and no matter how frustrated we've been with one another, it would seem insane to not have him around. That's our Josh; we love him dearly, and he's important to us.

So, today I'm asking my friends to help him. 
Josh has lost not only his father Todd Denman, who died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, 02/09/2021. But, he also lost his step-father Mike Slaughter last night, 2/14/2021. 

Josh is a natural caregiver; he did his best to help both men any way he could, so much so, that at times, the parental rolls between these men seemed to be reversed. But Josh never complained about this, it was just how things were. And now, in their deaths, Josh has taken on the task with overseeing arrangements for both men.

We have set the goal of $5,000 to help cover the memorial contributions for these two men and hopefully eliminate some stress Josh and his family is feeling now. Your help, in any way, is appreciated.
