Todd Davidson, beloved youth minister needs our help!

Update:   Todd is off the ventilator and making good progress.   His heart looks good and his prognosis is promising.   There is a lot of uncertainty in his near future and given the amazing response we’ve had, I’m adjusting the goal up a bit more.  Let’s keep this going and take care of the man that has taken care of so many of us !

Todd Davidson is a dear friend of mine who has made a significant impact not only on my life but on my children’s lives. He is a father, husband, youth minister at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, and a mentor to many. Most who know Todd know about his courageous battle fighting cancer these last few years. He has done remarkably well, until this week.

On Wednesday, 5/21/2025, Todd was scheduled for a procedure at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston when he unexpectedly suffered a cardiac arrest as they administered the anesthesia medicines for his procedure. For 15 minutes, his medical team worked feverishly to resuscitate Todd. The efforts paid off. Although he is not out of the woods, he is still alive and fighting strong.

Todd's family needs our help, not only with prayers, love, and support, but with medical and travel expenses. I ask each of you to support the man that spends his time supporting, loving, and inspiring so many of us.
