Tod Barrett Campaign

Donation protected
Our dear friend Tod Barrett, Staples class of ’79 and star of the 1978 Staples High School State Champion Soccer Team, is in dire straights.   A dedicated husband, Tod lost his wife Anna in 2007 to breast cancer and then adopted and raised Anna's two kids. Then, in 2012, he had an acute angioedema reaction to tainted food, which began a slow, steady ravaging of his body.  Tod then slid into the depths of a medical system which was unable to provide a clear-cut diagnosis, while sometimes making things worse.  He has been prescribed with everything from Oxycodone to Prednisone, and is now fighting to get off of Remeron, and Clonazepam.

Tod has spent his entire retirement estate on seeking help from doctors, clinics, trials, while incurring many other medical expenses. His only goal now is to get clean, and to get strong enough to try some new therapy.  The money we are raising will be used to enable him to reduce his reliance on medication, and allow him to start newly discovered alternative treatments.

The money that we raise will be delivered directly to Tod.  Tod will use the money to cover the costs of medical treatments and to help fund his return to Connecticut.

He really could use any help we can offer because in his own words,  "It may be my only hope."
