If you have been to Emperor Norton’s Italian Restaurant in South San Jose in the past 3 1/2 years, you undoubtedly know Todd Haney, proud owner, busy manager, caring caterer, fill-in cook, thoughtful event planner, weekly shopper, and....you get the picture- he he’s been doing it all! Todd tragically suffered a stroke last week. After two brain surgeries and over a week in ICU, he has experienced some vision loss, and while his prognosis is good, he will need a few months to rest and recover. I’m sure you’ve experienced, as I have, that Todd truly cares about his customers and community, and he goes the extra mile to make sure their experience at his restaurant is special and memorable. His favorite part of the business is making people happy, and he has become a cherished friend to many. Let’s come together to support Todd, his wife, and his three sons with medical bills and restaurant expenses while he recovers. The doctor has ordered the elimination of any avoidable stress as he heals, and this would undoubtedly help considerably. Please join me in helping Todd and his family at this very difficult time.
