My name is Jesus Ortiz and I am currently living in Portugal with my whole family. I am trying to help my uncle, Jull Ortiz, who is 65 years old. A few days ago, he received a medical diagnosis (I have attached the report at the end) that indicates that urgent surgery is needed because he has a heart valve that is not working properly.

The medical report states that her heart is only functioning at 39%, which causes her fatigue and dizziness when walking. In many cases, he loses consciousness because blood is not reaching his brain properly.

The doctors also informed us that every day that passes reduces his chances of survival, so it is crucial to operate on him in the next few months to give him a chance to continue living, God willing.

The doctors have presented him with two options: 1) open heart surgery or 2) a technique called TAVI (I have also attached a quote). However, both options are far beyond our financial capacity. Currently, we are selling his truck, work tools and anything else that can help us raise the necessary funds. We are also organizing fundraising campaigns among family and friends, but even so, we have not been able to raise the required amount in such a short time.

In addition to the lack of time, another obstacle is that my uncle is in Venezuela, a country devastated by a political system that has significantly weakened the economic capacity of the population, leaving us with limited options.
