Toccara Jones - Slain Mother of 1
Toccara Jones, affectionately known as "Teki" was a great mother, wonderful daughter, caring sister, and an awesome friend. She was smart, kind, and the sort of person who left your soul feeling a tad bit more whole anytime she came around. Her outspokenness would sometimes catch you off guard, but you always knew there was never any malice behind her words. Teki had dreams of becoming a nurse, and had begun school to pursue her nursing degree. She worked as a care giver at Advance Home Care, and had just become a home owner. Two of my fondess memories of my baby was seeing her become a mother, and watching her recieve the Lord as her savior. During the past few years I watched him move in her life, and work on her behalf. I would have never imagined his works in her life would be so short-lived.
On Sunday, November 6, 2016, Teki was taken from us as a victim of domestic violence. She is survived by her 12 year old son Ja'mi (pictured above). Right now we are seeking donations for her burial, and for the immediate care of her son. Also, please feel free to share your prayers and words of encouragement. We truly appreciate them.
Thank you,
