Toby's Leg Surgery: Support needed

On 3/12, Toby was outside enjoying the beautiful March sunshine, “talking” with the dog next door when he accidentally got his leg stuck in the fence. He panicked and pulled his leg back and ripped off 75% of the skin. He also broke 2 bones. The bones will heal, but he is going to need surgery within the next week to place skin from his chest onto his leg.

If you know me, you know Toby has been my world for many years. He has been right by my side through the best and worst times in my life. This was a very freak accident and some people would say it’s not worth it to go through all of this for a dog, but Toby is much more than that to me and I feel I have to do everything I can to be there for him now. Unfortunately, our son, Palmer, also witnessed the incident and I want to show him that when someone gets hurt in our family, we never give up hope and we do everything in our power to help them.
