Toby’s cancer treatments
Donation protected
Hi, this is Jenna, and I am lucky enough to be Toby's aunt. I'm reaching out on behalf of Toby and his amazing Mom and Dad.
Toby is the most perfect little boy who brings so much light and joy in this world. He turns 3 on February 23 and is Paw Patrol’s #1 fan. He loves and adores his big brother, Tiger, and his cousins so much.
Toby began limping and experiencing pain. After doctor visits, blood work, and X-rays, they initially suspected an infection. After showing no improvement they took him to Primary Children's ER. After more tests and scans Toby was diagnosed with a cancer called neuroblastoma
A port was surgically placed for chemo, and biopsies of his tumor and bone were performed.
Yesterday, they learned the magnitude of Toby's diagnosis. He has 3 1/2" mass in his abdomen, with known spread to his legs. Further test results will come in time.
Unfortunately, Tobys treatments are some of the most intense treatments for cancer that exist. His treatments will be 12+ months, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and then additional chemotherapy.
His journey starts with chemotherapy tomorrow. Please keep his tiny body in your thoughts and prayers to be strong.
My brother is not one to do this but him and his sweet wife are facing a long, daunting journey and I would love for them to be able to focus solely on Toby. Household bills and significant medical expenses will accumulate quickly.
We’ve had so many reach out and ask what they can do to help and where they can send donations and I figured this would be the easiest way to do that (please don’t be mad Brodie)
We're grateful for the supportive village around us. We all have felt the love and appreciate everyone reaching out. Kassie and Brodie both appreciate the love more than you know.
For those preferring Venmo, you can contribute to my dad, @Byron-Jespersen, who will be helping manage their bills, allowing them to be present with Toby during his fight.
Tough like Toby
