Toby needs IVDD surgery

Toby is a 9 years old dachshund. He is a loving doggy and belongs to my Granddaughter. Since he has lived in our home, we have grown fond of Toby.
We recently noticed that Toby was not himself. So we called the Vet to make an appointment. After a nerve wrecking wait. The veterinarian let us know that Toby's situation needed more attention. She advised us to take him to Veterinary Specialist in Madison. Toby was seen by the specialist and we were told that he more then likely had a herniated disk. This was causing his pain and lack of normal behavior such as walking. Toby does have a past of illness. He has Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD).
5 years ago Toby had surgery on his spine because of the IVDD. Up until yesterday he had been very happy, loving and fine.
The Veterinarian told us that Toby would need a MRI and Surgery. This year has not been kind to anyone. We have also been hit awfully hard with many different struggles this year. With the lack of work and due to the Covid/Pandemic we don't have the funds needed to help Toby. My Granddaughter is devastated!
We are trying to raise funds for the MRI and Surgery that is needed to save Toby. Please help us reach our goal. Toby is not very old and still has the potential for a great quality of life. We have set our goal quite high to cover all the procedures needed for Toby. We have also decided that if we meet our goal and there is money left it will be donated to a canine rescue of our choosing. Please help our tiny LOVEABLE dachshund TOBY get the help he needs and deserves. PLEASE & Thank you in advance. Every little bit counts!!!
