Toby Schissel's Trek Benefit
Donation protected
Toby,40, suddenly had a stroke on December 31st 2018. Toby underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain and mitigate the effects of the stroke. Unfortunately the unknown becomes daily reality with a serious brain injury. Toby, his wife Laura and two children Olivia (14) and William (10) are facing an overwhelming unknown. The only certain things are an indefinite hospital stay and the cost it creates.
Toby's big heart and generosity is tangible in the way he lives his life. This is exemplified through coaching youth sports, assisting with the Spin Devo Cycling Club, or being an instrumental organizer for the annual Make a Wish Battle of the Badges Hocky Game, raising thousands of dollars for sick children annually.
Toby is an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys playing all sports, notably golf and hockey.
The bond Toby and his family share is unbreakable, with Toby usually providing the comic relief!
Please take a moment to silently wish Toby well on this unknown journey and pay it forward.
