Last Wednesday, the Jackson/Atkinson family's sweet 1.5-year-old pup Toby was hit by a car in a heartbreaking accident. Despite his size, Toby is still very much a puppy, full of love, energy, and a fighting spirit. He was rushed to the emergency animal hospital with severe injuries: a broken femur, lung contusions, and a hematoma.

Thanks to the incredible veterinary team, Toby was stabilized. But his broken femur required complex surgery involving metal plates and pins to give him a chance at walking (and living) normally again.

The emergency visit and surgery have already cost over $13,000, and while we didn’t hesitate to save Toby’s life, the financial burden has been overwhelming, especially during a year already filled with personal hardships.

Toby is more than a pet. He’s family. His goofy grin, destructive tail wags, and warm snuggles bring joy to everyone who meets him. We’re asking for help to raise $10,000 to cover part of the emergency and surgical expenses so we can focus on helping him heal.
