Torbjørn's Hope Against Cancer

Please help us raise money to be used by Torbjørn's wife to cover the cancer treatment costs he urgently needs. She is selling her belongings to be able to give him the recomended treatment in Germany; and we friends and family are doing our best efforts to get as much donations as possible so that he can get his treatment.
Torbjørn, born in Norway,  is a beloved husband, father of three and a survivor of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He went through chemio, operations and transplants in 2006.  By 2008 he was well enough to start working part time. In 2012 as a side effect from the bone marrow transplant, he went through lungs transplant which worked out ok.

He and his wife Sharon; raised their only son Sebastian full of love and joy; and after being declared cured, they decided to adopt a 5 year old boy from Colombia in 2011, and last year 2015 they became forster parents to a Norwegian girl.

Life was good!  Until he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his esophagus; the technology to cure him is in Germany; thus his Norwegian insurance doesn't cover this new treatment.

Who we are:  We are the Kerby-Toledo family and we have been very close friends to Sharon and Torbjørn for the last 20 years.  Karen Toledo, Luis Toledo and me (Lissette Kerby) consider them as family and we are reaching out to all our friends and the community to help us raise as much as possible so that our friend Torbjørn can continue with his treatment and raise his beloved sons and daughter.

We think it's not fair that the lack of access to this special treatment ends this man's dreams and purpose.

He is a fighter, and not only him... His kids and wife wish to continue fighting against cancer!
