Heavy rainfall and releases from the Peñitas Dam have created an enormous inondation in the state of Tabasco. The flooding has already affecting thousands of people in particular along the Samaría River. Around 3,500 people were evacuated, several have died, and many have lost everything.
The entire city of Villahermosa is under water. People are in desperate need of food, clothes, money and shelter.
All funds will be directly wire transferred to Itzel Sarracino Mayo who is a Tabasco native, witnessing this disaster first hand, and a friend of mine.
The only countries to intervene as of now are Germany and Denmark. Let’s do our part and contribute what we can. Spending time with our families under a roof, dry, relaxed, and happy is not guaranteed. Let’s show some gratitude.
Every cent helps and could contribute to a bed, a warm meal, a pair of shoes, a blanket, or shelter for someone in desperate need under desperate circumstances.
