A Home for the Tobar Family

I'd like to introduce you to some amazing people...meet the Tobar family. Dad is Juan, beautiful Momma is Brenda, and four sweet and fun loving boys, Sebastian, Christian, Julian, and Adrian. The Tobars have faced many trials recently. Last year, their uninsured home was flooded, leaving them to live in a travel trailer while they slowly work on rebuilding a home for their family. And more recently, while visiting Juan in San Angelo where he was working, the family was in a horrific accident caused by someone hitting them while distracted by their cell phone. All of the family members were in the hospital. Juan and Brenda suffered from concussions, Sebastian had a broken femur and recently discovered he will need surgery on his eye. Christian and Julian dealt with cuts, bumps, bruises, and soreness. Adrian suffered severe brain injury and an internal decapitation. He was sent to a children's hospital to be treated where he still remains. While everyone has recovered well, Adrian is still dealing with his brain injury. And while he has made miraculous strides, he still has a ways to go. The Tobars could be at the hospital for months in a city 3 1/2 hours from home. Speaking of home, they do not really have one. They have begun building but are far from done. This is where you come in! We are raising money to help finish the Tobar's home. Many things need to be taken into consideration, such as a ramp for Adrian's wheelchair, wheelchair friendly doors, and shower. We would also love to furnish their home so that once Adrian is released from the hospital, they have a beautiful and functioning house they can bring the boys home to. We are attempting to raise $50,000 for the completion of the home. We are also looking for skilled workers, such as builders, electricians, plumbers, etc. Or perhaps you could donate items for their home, i.e. building supplies, furniture, paint, etc. At some point we are hoping to hold a workday when many of us can come and help, whether it is painting, cleaning, etc. And of course, we are asking for love, support, and prayers.
