If you know Toaster Strudel and I, you know I have a bit of an obsession with this little shih(tzu)head. Toast decided she didn’t like her first pacemaker and needed a new one. Unfortunately, arresting intra-operatively leads to complications and Toast has developed an AKI (acute kidney injury) and pneumonia. She has slowly started improving, but still has a ways to go and will likely be calling the ICU her new temporary home for the near future. The pastry pack and I would appreciate any help during Toast's road to recovery.
