(UPDATE BELOW)

Hi I'm Amy, and Toast is my little baby. Unfortunately she's had a bit of a tough start. Toast is only a few months old and for most of her life so far she has been battling a suspected respiratory illness. We have tried 3 different medications and by the time we could get her insured the symptoms had already begun meaning none of her treatment can be covered.

She was getting better but now she is getting worse. Recently she had an episode of "the wobbles" where she only walked in circles and fell over a lot. This seems to have stopped but she is now being referred to neurology.

She is getting a swab and culture soon and hopefully we will finally know what is wrong with her.

Anything to help my little baby Toast would mean the world, and if not, please spread the word.

Toast has been back to the vet and they are pleased with how the antibiotics are working. However, she has been on these antibiotics before and over a few days the became less effective. They want to monitor her progress and see if they can postpone the swab and cultures until she is string enough to be spayed to save her any more exhaustion. Hopefully when we eventually get the results we will be able to help her!

Update 3

Toast is now on prescription for antibiotics!! This is making her a lot more manageable cost wise for now. She has 7 day courses she gets every now and then when her sniffles get real bad. She will be swabbed and spayed in due course!! She is only tiny and they wanted to wait as long as possible before they make her go to sleepy town. I will continue to update!!
