Please help Ericka Goodlin walk once again! Over the last 4 years, Ericka has slowly lost her ability to walk and live independently due to severe Degenerative Disc Disease. At only 57 years old, this is way too young. She has been completely bedridden since Dec. 2019. She has consulted with 3 neurosurgeons and 1 orthopaedic surgeon in California who have given her no hope to ever walk or sit up again. She recently consulted with Dr. Steven Cyr, a top Orthopaedic/Neurologic Spine Surgeon in Texas, who assessed her condition as very serious and recommends surgery immediately to prevent complete paralysis. The surgery is scheduled for Oct. 21st, 2020. Ericka needs 2 surgeries: a multi-level neck (C3-T1) and a Lumbar Fusion to follow. Dr. Cyr feels confident that these surgeries will allow Ericka to walk again and live an independent life.
