Due to the recent COVID-19 crisis Avli Taverna closed its doors to dine-in service.
We support and commend Governor Pritzker's move to close all dine-in service state-wide. Unfortunately, Avli Taverna's hourly workers will be deeply affected with their employment suspended until this crisis reaches its resolution.
We are asking the Lincoln Park neighborhood--and the larger community of Chicago--to help us sustain quality of life for our hourly workers.
Please give what you can to help our hourly workers through this time. Independent restaurants like Avli Taverna do not generate the type of revenue to give 14 days of paid leave.
