To the memory of Hariharan

This fund-raising appeal is to support the parents of Mr. Hariharan Ramakrishnan, Who lost their only son on an adventure sport on 28th March 2021. They are left helpless with a huge educational loan availed for his higher studies in United States.
The parents are devastated on losing the only hope of their life. This loss cannot be compensated. But we can provide them the moral support by donating for the educational loan.
We whole heartedly request our friends, batch mates, Alumni of the school and college he studied to donate generously and provide a supporting shoulder.
“Help, before you are asked”. Although, the elderly parents did not reach us, as friends it is our responsibility to join hands and lend them support.
“Know the person before you help”. He was a loveable, kind-hearted, trustworthy, harmless friend of all. He looked the world on its positive side. He trusted everyone he came across. He was never self-minded. His trust and positive opinion on each and every one of us must not be embittered. He is a genuine material to be helped without second thought.
He was an avid adventure lover and had great enthusiasm to explore the world. He dreamt to be an astronaut. His thirst towards risk taking made him achieve a lot in free diving and other sports. He was a lead runner in all kind of awareness marathon races.
The last adventure:
During his recent visit to India, he went on deep diving adventure sport on the weekends. One such weekend was 28th March 2021, when he went for deep diving in the outskirts of Chennai, India.
He being a professional diver took risk to go very deep. As only he knows what happened, he was found missing after few minutes of diving. The group recovered him gasping, from the bottom of well and evacuated him to Tagore hospital-Chennai, by then his lungs were filled with water. This tragedy took place around 14:00hrs to 15:00hrs. After police enquiry, post-mortem, and other legal procedures, his body was handed over to his parents in Velakovil the next day.
Hariharan was the only son, hope and future of his parents. As their complete dream was destroyed in seconds, his parents are now helpless in paying back his educational loan. We are raising fund to overcome this and give some psychological support to his parents.
