On July 19th, my mother passed away unexpectedly. She was my best friend, my constant, and the heart of our family. As we grieve, I’m trying to carry out her final wishes with care, dignity, and love—but I can’t do it alone.
The cost of her cremation alone is nearly $2,700, and once we add in a Celebration of Life ceremony and memorial arrangements, the total could easily reach $5,000. I’ve applied for assistance through Lake County, but they only reimburse $690 after the invoice is paid in full. Social Security may contribute up to $255, but that process can take months and only applies if no payment has been made yet.
I’m currently handling all arrangements alone while caring for my family, managing our grief, and doing my best to stay strong. I’m reaching out to my community for help—if you’re able to contribute, even a small amount, it would mean the world to me and my children.
Every donation goes directly toward:
• Cremation & transportation
• Death certificates
• A meaningful Celebration of Life
• Travel, printing, and any final tribute expenses
Thank you for reading, sharing, donating, or simply holding us in your heart. My mom gave everything she had to her family, and I want to send her off with love and honor.
With gratitude and love,
