Please help Phillip Bloom and his cats in time of need.

The quote below was posted to Philip's Facebook today. It's time for all of us to help out a friend as much as we are able. Bertie has just passed away and Percy is really desperately ill. Philip is struggling emotionally and financially. While we cannot help with the emotional pain we can help with the financial burden. Philip has vet bills from the last several months as well as those to. come in the future. Due to a long struggle with depression, he has been unable to sustain gainful work to fund his other household bills also. Please help. Philip has 26 k followers. Just think what the power of social media could do if all of this people chipped in 5 pounds!

"The vet suggested hospitalising him for 48 hours but I couldn’t as I have no money at all. I already borrowed some from mum to help pay the already substantial bills for him, Bertie and Harriet for the many treatments over the last 10 days. He has insurance but I have to pay up front and they take about 6 weeks to pay, plus they only cover 60% of the bills due to his age. All they would do is put him on intravenous fluids and he would so unhappy. I have more fluids to give him every day to keep him hydrated.

There’s also the very real worry that he may not come home if he goes in. Exactly 6 years ago today Noodle was hospitalised due to the flu and she was dead the next day. If he has a very short time left I would like him to be home with myself and Lollipop rather than spend it in a cage away from us all.

I am struggling so much. I don’t know how much more I can take."
