To Support Griffin Hogg's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
The friends of Griffin Hogg are organizing this page to ask for help and support for Griffin Hogg and his family.
Our lives changed forever on Saturday, February 17, especially for Griffin. He was in a severe accident, involving a firework. The blast destroyed most of his right hand and nearly took his left eye. He also suffered 2nd- and 3rd-degree burns on his abdomen and thigh. He was rushed to North Memorial Hospital to have emergency surgery in an attempt to save at least part of his hand. Despite having one of the best plastic surgeons in the country, they were unable to save any of it and it was amputated below his wrist. Griffin has shown incredible strength and faces a long recovery process. Still, we are hopeful he will be able to be fitted with a prosthesis and live a fulfilling life, embracing the possibilities that lie ahead. The road to recovery will be long. If anyone can overcome this, it's Griffin. He is an incredible person and friend.
Griffin was a 2022 graduate of Columbia Heights High School in Minnesota, and his friends are asking the community to rally around him.
A donation of any amount is appreciated and helpful. Please spread the word. Your donation will cover medical expenses and loss of work and show Griffin the support he needs.
