The memory of Nissy for Beth Main

As we all know, loss under any circumstance is heartbreaking. Beth Main is a bright energetic teenager, who has now had to experience the loss of her best friend due to the recklessness of a selfish individual. Beth and Nissy had been together from the start, going from a dressage pony to jumping the 1m25 gate challenge. No question Beth asked was to great as the trust and bond they had was special, a one in a million bond. Any spare moment Beth had would be spent with Nissy either hacking, competing or just spending time together in the field. Beth and Nissy were out on a very routine hack, when they were hit by a car. The car was travelling at a considerable speed, by the time they'd even acknowledged horse and rider it was too late. Beth was very lucky to be alive, however Nissy wasn't so fortunate. Nissy lost her life but saved Beth's. Thank you Nissy for all the joy you have brought to Beth and her family and the memories you have left behind. I have set up this page in order to raise money for Beth to donate half to the East Anglian Air Ambulance and half to a horse charity of her choosing in order for Nissys memory to live on. And to raise awareness of how cars really need to slow down on the roads and just think 'If there were a horse round that bend, would I be able to stop?'
